Spoiler: There are no good teams in this league.

I'll maybe hedge on Missouri State if this isn't a mirage.

“Best player” is arguable.

Right, a starter but not Murray's best player. If anything, we saw more of the bench which probably should have been getting more minutes all along. Bottom line, on this night, Murray outplayed and outhustled Bradley.

Ok. One of the best. Second leading scorer and second leading rebounder.

Give the Racers credit. They were way more aggressive and physical than Bradley.

Brian Wardle shut down Reink Mast in the first half and then Murray did in the second.

Not sure we're any different; we can look good and we have looked bad. Two game road test to Belmont and Illinois St coming,so that will tell more. Still see the Bears as 4-6 range , but with as good as any's chance in STL.
The Bear is the largest carnivore on the North American continent; beware the Bear!

So stipulated, he is one of our best.

So serious question, does Bradley like to play a quicker tempo?

Depends on who you ask. They THINK they want to - but not really. They aren't grind it out either (in MVC terms anyway where it's a slow as hell league). More mid pack in the league.

Generally the defense is better than it was last night - but that wasn't what lost the game. Having your three leading scorers go four-for-27 was. Oh, and sitting your best player the last 10 minutes of the first half while the opponent goes on a 17-3 run.

Duly noted.

This game was played much closer to the tempo desired by the Racers, especially with one of the two true bigs we have out.
