Calhoun held Domask essentially scoreless. For some odd reason we pulled him nd assigned Sturtz to Domask at which point Domask scored or assisted every possession. If that move had not been made I'm pretty sure Drake would have won the game.

I have no idea why they weren’t doubling Domask at the end. Jones is the only other guy I would fear on SIU. You take Domask and Jones out of a game and I’m not sure SIU is scoring 45 a night.

Everyone looks timid on offense outside of Jones and Domask. IMO, every player fears being subbed out if they miss a shot or make a turnover. Watch everyone else next game with that mindset and see if you see the same things. All it does is hurt players' confidence levels.

UE threw double teams at Domask the entire game and he ended up with 7 assists while Jones, Rupert, Johnson, and Brown scored in double figures.

What comes of Keno’s career if he never leaves Drake?

Exactly what it did become unless his dad was going to coach and recruit 3 out of every 4 years.

This.

Keno's recruiting was horrible in the year he was there. (spring 2007 and fall 2007). I don't even remember most of the guys he signed, but one was at Drake for two years and literally didn't play a minute, one decided to run track & field at one of the Dakota schools and the others never did a thing. He got one commitment in the spring of 2008 before he left....a guy that they had offered as a walk-on two years prior. Coming off a 28-5 season, I'd expect him to be going after players a little better than that.

I feel bad for Ben Krikke. He’s a really nice player who deserves better.

Now, these Bears, I know these Bears. Welcome back to reality, Bears fans.

Hopefully, some program out there sees Dana Ford and thinks, "I want that."

6 games in, we have

IndianaSU alone in first.

SIU, Belmont, Bradley, Murray, MIssouriSU, and UNI tied for second.

Crazy.

Makes for an exciting season for sure. And if we had a good OoC showing, this would have nice for post season also.
