If yesterday’s and today’s crowds are any indication, Arch Madness is undergoing a renaissance. Arena hasn’t been this rocking since at least 2017. There’s even a few hundred in the upper deck for Game 2!

Great crowds today. The two best teams advanced.

The Sycs are fun to watch. Hopefully Schertz gets some guys in since he loses a lot of talent.

Congrats to SIU for scoring over 50 points in both games in STL.

Up 26% over last year’s semifinal Saturday (6,731).

Last year’s number was obviously inflated as there’s no way there were 5k bodies in that building at any point. Ends and corners were predominantly empty and sides did not fill up.

This year is much more sustainable.

Exactly. The Sycs have the second best high school class coming in and Schertz can obviously coach. They're positioned well for the future.

I hear you - but the fall recruiting classes don't mean nearly what they used to. Not that they don't matter of course.

I don't care how good those freshmen are - they aren't going to replicate what they are losing. Of course it helps build something - but next year won't be as good. Unless, of course, he hits on the portal.
