Hutson is a nice get by UNI, I wish he would have stayed at Loyola but Drew didn’t give him enough minutes. He started using Hutson at the end of the season and realized his mistake too late. I liked him more than Golden, I was annoyed all season at the lack of his play time.

He is from Fort Wayne so guess there is that. Still hurts as a UIC fan losing a promising player to IPFW.

We as fans are also not ignorant to the fact that we need to improve things such as the overall win/loss of the team and game day environment to avoid more and more of this each year.

Slavery was a law for a long time and they got three meals a day and room and board as well.

I looked at their board and I thought it was pretty good attitudes in general. (might have to check back)

I’m indifferent, I’m annoyed at the performance and coaching of the team. At the same time I think the media and fans had too high of hopes for a team that lost a lot of its players and changed conferences. I’d like for Drew to workout, I think any Loyola fan will tell you that. I’ll start worrying more if I don’t see improvements next season.

Belmont lost two more today, Michael Shanks and Frank Jakubicek. Shanks was an undersized power forward that was a fouling machine. He had moments where he helped, but not a great loss. Frank played the center position and looked promising in his freshman year, but had a rough year this year that started with a several week concussion protocol. I wish the best for both of them, but I hope we can find better replacements.
