I mean there aren't any world beaters but this field could be a lot worse. Five teams in the top 200 last year. If UIC went 2-1 in this tournament it would be a phenomenal result as they look to improve as a program.

The Paradise Jam is usually a pretty good tournament with at least a couple of Power 6 teams. Does anyone know why there are no Power 6 teams this year?

Power 6 teams are staying away from those type of events. A fair amount are doing their own thing.

Another way for the Power 6 to keep their NET rating higher and non-Power 6 NET rating lower. Some of the MTE’s are going to two divisions/groups. One group of four being P6 & one group of four being non-P6. And only the group of four play each other. Thus eliminating the P6 playing non-P6

They never ended up with a decent TV deal and are now on Flo. Programs want to go where there's money and they can be seen. That tournament is dying a slow death.
