The other freshman, Kizinger is going to annoy the hell out of MVC teams. He's good, man. It's been a long time since the Birds have had a freshman ready and contributing from day 1.

Kizinger and RJ Taylor are going to have some wars over the next 3 years and they're both going to seem like they play in the league forever and drive everybody crazy. Can't wait and I wish we weren't a single play this year.

Not much of a game, but I appreciated the ACC's CW announcers being very complimentary of the Valley and Arch Madness.

Sycamores get revenge on USI today, winning 98-54, Jaden Daughtry with a double double in only 13 minutes of playing time in the 2nd half

We're off until the 16th when we play Ball State in Indy

UNI gets 31 from Born but can't stop Toledo at all in the second half and lose 84-80.

Norfolk State coach is a goof. Goes 15 feet onto the court to jaw face-to-face with the ref, then after that goes to the center line and instigates a fight with Pedon, who is one of the most mild-mannered coaches you’ll find.

How he hasn’t been ejected, let alone a technical, is beyond me. You’re paid to act professional.

Pedon takes the high road after the game, hunts down the Norfolk St coach who went hiding on the other end of the bench to shake his hand, only for the NSU coach to pout and raise the temperature again with Pedon. A gracious victor, that one.
