UNI was sharp for 32 or so minutes in a win over Prairie View tonight in a game that was never really in doubt. UNI wins 74-55.

Nate Heise had 25 and 10. Tytan Anderson had 17 and 7.

On to another buy game against Alcorn State on Sunday.

Wow, former Missouri St assistant Cory Gibson with back to back Valley pelts beating Murray St and SIU. The first was at Austin Peay and is a traditional rival , so not a real shocker, but didn't see the SIU game coming.

SIU looked extremely average last night. Xavier Johnson and not much else.

I hope I’m wrong and that isn’t the theme of SIU once we get into league play. The Valley’s best when the Illinois schools are competitive.

Not surprised but disappointed the Salukis couldn't put up a better effort last night. This seems like a theme during the Mullins era. He can get teams to play hard against top-tier teams, but he struggles to get them to blow out or just win some mid-level games that have to be won if you want to rise up as a mid-major.
