Someone said no way in hell MVC gets 3 bids,I say no way in hell the league gets 2 bids.NCAA has made the Tournament to keep the Mid Majirs from being a 2 bid league, hell it will be hard for the Valley to get a NIT bid from now on.

I think a well-reasoned argument could be made that it will be more likely to get two NCAA bids than it will be to get one NIT bid after the changes they announced.

CBS (Chicago) just previewed a segment about Avila for the 10pm news tonight. That's cool.

Trying to figure out how long to hang on to my preconceived notions about Evansville. I've seen them a couple times this year, I think they're pretty good.

I think they're better than they were last year, but their nonconference schedule has been pretty weak. KenPom has it at 350.

Credit to them though. They've won the games. This has been about as good of a nonconference season as they could have hoped for after last year. It certainly looks like it's given the Aces some confidence.

In contrast, Valpo's nonconference SOS (also via KenPom) is 341 and they're getting their asses kicked. Infer from that what you will.

Fun fact: Minnesota currently holds the worst nonconference SOS.

UNI has played the toughest non-con schedule and checks in at 54.

Drake now has serious injury concerns. Tucker Devries did not play at all on Tuesday. Connor Enright went down in the first half and did not return. Drake is as secretive as you can be with injuries and we're not likely to know anything about their statuses until warm-ups on Friday but there's concern.

While Overton, Wright, and Ferguson are coming along, Devries, Enright, and Brodie are the keys to our team no question. If we are going to lose Devries, Enright, or both for any stretch of time we will be out of the titles/postseason conversations.

Does anyone know if Connor Hickman is playing tonight for Bradley? Not that he will help them long run, but for tonight he would. The Braves and UNI are the 2 biggest surprises, in a BAD way, to me.
