MVC Games Week 11 2023-24

Feels like the Top 4 are starting to separate though there's lots of games left between those 4.

Since my Salukis seem to be entering a free fall, I can still say that I’m really excited to see the league have the separation we need to be a 2 bid (or 3 with some luck) league. Drake murdering Evansville jumped their NET to 44 and I’d like to see the same with Indiana State today. Evansville and UIC’s non conference helped this cause a ton.

Evansville and UIC helped the league with some non conference success. At the other extreme Valpo entered Valley play as one of the worst NET and RPI teams in the country. A VU senior heavy 22-23 team went 5-15 in MVC last season. I can see paths where they can duplicate that record with this freshman heavy all underclassman lineup of late January. That would have to have some negative bearings on some league numbers thus indirectly reducing the 2 bid possibilities. Our apologies again in advance of our final 12 Valley contests.
