He ran his patented stall offense late in the game and it worked wonders once again. His butthole gets so tight late in the game. He isn’t it for SIU.

Hyperbole, for sure. There is no way Yaklich isn’t at the bottom of the list…and by a wide margin. He’s probably lucky he’s got two years left on his contract. Otherwise, he’d be gone at season’s end. And if not, the AD should get the boot as well.

Disgusted as a UiC fan right now. It’s not just the losing…it’s the way this team looks. Zero discipline. Zero intensity. Mental midgets, the lot of them. They don’t even pay attention to Yak during gameplay…completely tuned out.

Most of the team, including Okani and Rivera, need to be asked to leave after this year. Can’t win with these guys. You can just tell. Whole new team is required.

Rivera has talent but is an absolute dog. CJ Jones can play some but why would he stay after this season?

UIC should be ashamed. Valpo is a horrendous team...but at least they aren't still hanging out in the Horizon League, which boasts two of the five worst teams in Division I in KenPom's ratings.

Detroit Mercy (0-22) and IUPUI (6-17) rank Nos. 358 and 360, respectively.

Seriously, how can you be a Division I school in the city of Detroit and not be able to field a team that can win at least one of its first 22 games, especially when 11 of them are against Horizon League teams AND your head coach has been to the freaking national title game.

There isn't a thing in the country more perplexing to me than how a Mike Davis team is 0-22. The guy is the only coach in 37 years to take IU to the national championship game, took UAB to 1 NCAA + 3 NITS, took Texas Southern to 4 NCAAs....and is 0-22. What?

Bradley takes care of business at home against UNI. Bradley was up 16 at half and UNI never really threatened in the 2nd half. Hickman was on fire early and Leons was really solid on the defensive end. Good to see Born back and healthy.

Feels like we're finally seeing some separation in the top 3. UNI, SIU, Missouri State, Belmont, Illinois State and Murray State are all within a game of each other and will be fighting it out for the 4th Arch Madness bye. Should be a fun month of basketball.
