no way they go 19-1. They have 1 or 2 more slip ups in them.

I disagree, I think they are running the table. 3 of their last 7 games are against the bottom 3 in the league. Only chances I see for a slip up are @MSU and @SIU.

With our recent injuries (Moore, Mayo, Kramer) I don't think the Trees are going to have any problems with the the Bears in Springfield. Would have been nice to be at full strength to try and pull the upset.

How bad is the Moore injury? I always liked him and it was good to see he was playing well recently.

So UE has no chance of beating the Trees at our place. We did just beat a team that we lost to by 36 points so I would like to think we have a chance with a healthy Ben playing.

Haven't heard, just know he is out for Saturday. Mayo is questionable for Sat and Kramer is out at least another week.

One big difference between Bradley and Indiana State is that if Swope or Avila has an off game, there's enough offensive firepower on that roster to win against most Valley teams. If Hickman or Deen are having an off night, the margin for error gets really slim, really quick. Combine that with all the sloppy turnovers and Leons disappearing on offense most of the game, and there are not many MVC teams, if any, Bradley would have beaten last night.

Credit to Evansville though, they survived their second half scoring lull and made some key free throws to ice it at the end.

Am I right or wrong, hasn't Swopes scoring and shooting percentage fell off as we get deeper into Valley play.Dont the Trees only play 8 players. On a side note, iij m sure Swope will be fired up when he comes to Evansville since he high school ball less than 10 minutes away.

If we're being completely honest, there's a strong case that if you had to leave one of the five starters for Indiana State off of an all conference team, Swope would be the one. He's had a few monster games but overall he's been very pedestrian (compared to the other four) during conference play. He's also probably the worst defender of their starters as well. (Which really speaks to how good Indiana State is if I'm sitting here making an argument that f****** Isaiah Swope is their worst starter)

Indiana State is up to the second best ten seed on bracketmatrix. That's 10 spots from the cutoff line and six spots above the first four. I like the site because it averages the all available data and shows you where teams are in the pecking order (are you the best 10 seed or the fourth 10 seed, etc). Importantly, it almost always gets 67/68 teams right with all of those teams within +/- 1 seed of the projection.

I also find it interesting that Lunardi has the Sycamores as an auto bid sandwiched between the "first-four" teams. That certainly doesn't mean he thinks ISU would be safe with a loss. But it sure as heck does not mean he actually thinks they need to win every game by 20 and go to 4OT in St. Louis. Very plain to see Joe was trying to be cute for the cameras last Saturday. https://x.com/ESPNLunardi/status/175603 ... 88537?s=20
