There are whispers that he could end up at Creighton next year, and we will gladly take him. If he and his dad want to improve his chances at an NBA career, he might need to play at a higher level and go for more exposure. I think he would fill in nicely when Scheierman graduates.

Leave it to a lurking Creighton fan to use a drive-by rip of Tucker to further rip the Valley.

Had it not been for Creighton's move to the Big East, Dougie McBuckets would have never stepped foot on an NBA floor. That single year in the Big East changed McDermott's trajectory from a middling G-league talent to a legitimate NBA player due to all of the difficult opponents Creighton faced in the Big East. NBA scouts simply don't have the time or resources to monitor all these low and mid-major programs for good talent.

LOL, yep. That one year in the Big East his senior season is what made him great.

If they can find Ja Morant at an OVC school in Murray, KY, I am pretty sure they can find a MVC talent in Omaha.

Ja Morant was nothing until everyone saw him in the NCAA Tournament. If Murray hadn't won the OVC Tourney, no one would have found him and he'd be stuck over in Europe forever. Everyone knows this.

I thought the same about Kyle Korver. He only spent 18 or so years in the NBA.

AJ Green was also known for his incredible defense and athleticism. Somebody should really tell the Bucks that GR4 doesn't think he's good enough to be in their rotation.

Interesting stat:

There are only three NBA players who have attempted at least 5,000 3p shots and made more than 40%:

Kyle Korver - 5,715 / 42.9%
Stephen Curry - 8,562 / 42.7%
Klay Thompson - 5,779 / 41.3%

Korver is literally one of the best shooters in the history of the NBA. His only flaw is that he didn't play in the current version of the NBA.

Not impressive, needed 3 overtime’s to get there.

What a stupid comment. There were 40 NBA Scouts in Murray (not exactly an easy place to get to) at the regular season game against Belmont in January that year. Buzz Peterson and Mitch Kuphchak from the Hornets flew into Paducah on Jordan's plane. Pat Forde was in the building.

Ja was a lottery pick long before the OVC Tournament. Magic Johnson wasn't at the OVC Tourney by accident.
