For the A10: private school with an outstanding Nashville market and a good basketball program. Also gets them back to 16 teams.

Have always thought the MAC and Illinois St made sense if ISU was looking to play FBS football. Have no idea how serious CUSA is for Bears right now in the midst of a President search and hire; not even sure we can manage a new coaching search till that's resolved . Could be a big nothing summer other than the new prez, or it could be lots of changes. Some of fan base is ready for a clean sweep, new prez, new AD, new MBB coach, and the football guys all want a new conference . I really don't[ conference ] but whatever .

I'd imagine WKU takes that last spot immediately. The MAC isn't taking an FCS callup because the CFP has said they aren't giving them extra shares for teams that aren't already in the G5. They'd be decreasing their own payments to take Illinois State.

The A10 is back to 14. I can't imagine they take another mouth to feed when they are probably in worse shape than we are going forward as far as getting extra bids.

No kidding. “The MAC wanting to add 3 more” was literally just a random person with 140 followers. We should all have the basic ability to evaluate sources before running around and spreading it on message boards.

Moving forward, hopefully we stick to actual credible sources. It improves the quality of discussion greatly.
