He’s gonna look great in the red and white of Wisconsin in the next year or two.

Birds will need to toss him some NIL money and deals to keep him around, but with that said, he would really struggle defensively in the Big Ten. His size gets exposed in our conference let alone 6 ft 4 guards in p5 conferences

I agree. He’s not a Big Ten player. But that hasn’t stopped teams from offering rides to dudes to be #10 or 11 in the rotation.

Kid is the absolute perfect Fran McCaffery guard.

I think Schweiger still wins FOY, fwiw.

Schwieger probably should win it, but Kinziger is the far sexier pick now. I'm sure there's beat reporters who still don't even know who Cooper Schwieger is.

It's pretty much understood among Bird fans that Wisky is the only school he'd jump to. His brother, who the Birds also recruited, is headed there with the class of '25. I'm guessing if he jumps, it'd be then.

Pedon has pointed at Coach Jake at UNI as the dean/standard of this league. If Pedon is trying to build a UNI-type of model in central Illinois, roster continuity is a massive first step. Somehow, someway, the Panthers have only had what? Like 3 transfers out in the last 4 years? And if memory serves, all the situations were mutually beneficial. Here's to hoping Pedon is the relationship guy he appears to be and can keep these dudes. Walker showed flashes last night of how he can impact a game as well.

We'll see if voters take the "what have you done" or "what have you done lately" approach. If it's "lately," Johnny runs away with FOY.

Two.

Noah Carter because his dad was a disaster and Antwan Kimmons because he needed to be closer to home for family reasons.

Heise is the only one that I'm anywhere near concerned about this year.

UNI also had their best player to ever play on campus - and he was there because his dad was there. Let's not overlook that.
