I didn't have Bradley with two first team players, but both are impactful guys who had good seasons.

Also Gillespie making the second team despite only playing half the games in MVC action is a bit of a surprise. He was a difference maker, so maybe I shouldn't be shocked.

No major surprises, to be honest. I think the voters got this just about right.

Happy for Duke/Mal but it would have been a great motivator to have coach calling one or both of them “second team” all week. Worked like a charm last time.

Yes, Duke Deen has another year of eligibility left. Darius Hannah does as well.

Leons is the only loss to graduation but we are anxiously waiting to see if anyone enters the transfer portal.

Leons is the only player who has completely exhausted his eligibility, as he took his Covid year this year to play. Everyone else has at least 1 year left if they want to take it.

Of the guys who played some:
Hannah and Linke could take a 5th year for Covid.
Deen, Hickman, and Christian Davis are only Juniors.
Ahmet Jonovic and Kyle Thomas were only a Sophomores.
Atlason and Demarion Burch were only Freshman

Hannah gave a non-answer answer when asked if he's coming back a few weeks ago. Would obviously love to have him back but not holding my breath. If more than two of Hannah, Deen, Hickman, Davis, Burch, or Atlason leaves, then Wardle has his work cut out for him.

The three that really matter are Hannah, Deen and Hickman.

I like the two freshmen but they weren't so good you can't replace them in the portal. Same with Christian Davis. I would expect two of the "big three" to return.
