Basketball Tournament Location Change

The Missouri Valley Conference Women's Basketball Tournament will rotate locations for the next three seasons.

2025: Evansville Ford Center
2026: Coralville, IA Xtreme Arena (Coralville is a suburb of Iowa City)
2027: Moline, IL back to Vibrant Arena at the MARK

Personally, I'm not a fan of this change. I think it was fine where it was for the long term.

You'll have a good time if you come to Iowa City/Coralville in 2026. Small, but brand new arena, with great places to stay and eat/drink both right around the arena and downtown Iowa City if you prefer.

I went to the QC tournament a couple times. Free parking right next to the arena, no traffic, very convenient, almost no one walking around downtown. Very cool arena design on the interior and exterior. UNI/Drake brought strong crowds this year. It would look so much more scenic in warmer weather with the arena right on the river.

Figured Hoops in the Heartland was changing up as Jackson was non-committal in interviews. QC was a far drive for quite a few schools.
