And why would we want to hear about Missouri State?

It was more of a question as to why they would take time to cover Missouri State instead of actual Valley members. I won't listen, but I'm not sure why they think anybody would. Maybe that is their school and next year they will be doing "Cruise to the Conference USA."

BS , that's an Evansville group and they've been doing that pod for quite awhile. That's the second time you inferred posts about Mo St weren't welcome, which is fine if that's how immature you are. We're in the Valley for the coming year; if you want to be a butt every time something for MSU is posted this year, have at it.

Baker is an ISUr guy. Vance is an SIU guy who used to be a student assistant I believe. From what I remember from past episodes, Vance has been going to Arch Madness with his family since he was a kid, Baker as well. They work at State Farm in Blo-No IIRC. They’re diehard Valley fans.

I thought they were UE guys, but either way, yeah they are long time MVC guys and have been doing this pod for a few years it seems. They vary their topics and I guess thought interviewing Wyatt would be timely.

Interviewing the beat writer of a school leaving the conference and getting their perspective on the move is pretty relevant to a MVC podcast. They are in the Valley for another year after all. Plus, Wyatt Wheeler is a gem.

You guys obviously haven’t done a whole lot of work when it comes to expansion candidates. You mentioned that Northern Kentucky would be added based on potential. I beg to differ. The Norse have a well rounded athletic department, including a baseball team that won the ‘24 HL Tourney and a basketball team that has won the HL tourney 4 of the last 7 years, going to the Dance 3 of those years while Covid cancelled the other trip. I think that’s more than “potential “.

It's nothing more than potential.

Any add is based on potential because no expansion candidate is coming from a better situation. Winning the Horizon League tournament doesn't change that in the slightest.

I'm really, truly not trying to insult those of you who support former Horizon League members, but that league is closer to the Summit League than it is the MVC.
