Are you saying fans were being robbed outside the ARC?

I think you know that isn't what I meant, nor do I appreciate you trying to make that kind of a claim. In its prime, the ARC was one of the best environments in the country and would even go over capacity for big ticket games. These aren't just my words, but the words of various CBB veterans who experienced VU in the late 90s and early 00s. I suggest looking up old footage of games such as the Lutheran Miracle or games against Butler to see what the ARC could do in its prime.

I was joking, but to be fair; I don’t give a rip if you appreciated it or not.
No MVC team has ever been nervous to play in the ARC, not in the 90’s, the early 00’s, or today.

Illinois State sure plays like they are intimidated there.

UNI, who was absolute dog s*** for the vast majority of the 80s and early 90s when we were in the same league the first time, is 33-5 against Valpo.

There isn't a team in this league that is scared of the ARC or ever has been.

I echo 2018, above.

Birds play like s*** against Valpo. Regardless of venue.

I don't know about order of finish, but my way too early prediction is that Missouri State wins the Arch Madness tournament. Tulsa (1996), Creighton (2013), Wichita State (2017), and Loyola (2022) are the last four schools to leave and they all took the crown on their way out the door.

That won’t happen this time around.

2 of those teams were coming off Sweet 16s (Tulsa, Loyola) and the other 2 were coming off wins in the NCAA Tournament (Creighton, WSU).

Those teams were leaving after explosive success in the Valley and being poached by higher level basketball leagues. Missouri State has had no such success and is leaving for a worse basketball league.

I've heard Huntsville, AL is absolutely bursting at the seams with excitement when that CUSA Basketball tournament hits town.

FIU v Sam Houston. Electric.

Don't sell Jacksonville State vs. Kennesaw State short. Prediction: STANDING. ROOM. ONLY.
