ESPN and MVC extend their contract through the 2028-29 season.
Arch Madness title game & semifinals sublicensed to CBS/CBSSN. CBSSN will also have some regular season games.

Unclear if the MVC TV package with the Bally Sports RSNs is continuing or not. NBC Sports Chicago is shutting down at the end of the year.

I could see an agreement being reached with either the Reinsdorf channel or Marquee to get some televised games. I know Marquee is offered locally through Xfinity

Really hope the RSN deal is extended. The production value is always so good - and they even do MVC Season Preview and Arch Madness Preview shows. The commercials about MVC flashbacks and Arch Madness promos are always great.

I’d imagine Wirtz/Reinsdorf starting their own channel put a wrench into everything. There’s still very little information on CHSN and who’s carrying it.

UNI and Illinois State have their in house produced Learfield broadcasts on Marquee. Seems like a natural fit for the RSN broadcasts to end up there.

Plus, Marquee needs anything they can get to keep app subs during the winter. I think they were all but certain they were getting the Blackhawks until Reinsdorf called in old favors to the Wirtz family.

Being a cubs fan, the marquee production value is actually pretty good. I did see some RSN broadcasts get put onto the channel last year. Particularly Missouri St broadcasts were sometimes on there. With their need for winter sports coverage to fill the gap when the baseball season is over. I'm sure the MVC could swing a deal for TV rights for high leverage games.

Does anybody know the financial arrangements for the Valley?

Good news. Agree they should try to keep the RSN deal alive somehow and Marquee does seem like a great fit, We could probably give them lots of games and inventory.
