Cuonzo didn't even attempt to build a Valley level roster.

MoSt is leaving a basketball conference for a football conference, can't imagine that helped recruiting

To be fair, he won't need one in C-USA.

Ya, you're right....Western Kentucky, Middle Tennessee, Liberty, New Mexico State...these programs always suck balls. The Valley is such a higher level of 1 bid league compared to the lowly CUSA.

Two things can be true. The Valley is a better league than C-USA - but also not better enough to be a major needle mover.

Bingo.

Some of the posters here seem to not realize that.

I'm aware of where the MVC stands in the world.

If Missouri State fans are going to be annoyed that people poke fun at the decision to joining CUSA, a revolving-door league where teams fight to play in the Bahamas Bowl where the payout is so low you end up paying them to play, they may want to back away from the message board.

But also, three things can be true:
1. The MVC is better than CUSA
2. The MVC isn't better enough to be a major needle mover.
3. Missouri State doesn't need an MVC-level roster to compete in CUSA. Hell, MSU finished 9th last year and they beat Sam Houston State - the CUSA regular season champ
