With the current state of college basketball, it is going to take a few games to get up to speed and know your team with all the transfers. The teams that play better opponents first are going to see that tune up quicker than others. A lot of the Valley is shaking that rust off.

UTA had some really quick guards including Darius Burford, former Redbird, who looked to be about the most talented player on the floor at times.

Cuonzo has the ragtag collection of players overachieving. They play hard, and compared to Dana Ford teams they're running some really good schemes on both offense and defense.

Interesting matchup on Sunday in the MTE against a really good mid major team in High Point.

Agreed. And they don't look like an 11th or 12th place team in the MVC. Just don't see that yet as hard as they play.

Saw where Missouri State is one of only 9 teams in the country that so far has not recorded a single minute or point from a returning player yet this season.

Pinegar scored so there must be some minutes criteria for that to be accurate.

They ran a graphic last game where I think one team has 16 newcomers, and then we're 1 of about 4-5 programs with 15 newcomers. I like our guys though; just getting a couple healthy, but we're a gritty bunch. 8-)

Dominant win by Drake. Miami got as close as 4 at one point but it never felt in doubt.

I didn't have McCollum winning a P4 game before DeVries on my bingo card.

Mac's the better coach. I think time will bear that out.
