RPI is still more accurate and contains no pre-determined bias. Look at their top 10 conferences, and almost anybody would agree that those are the top 10.

SEC

Auburn

Big Ten
0.5905 2 110-26 0.8088

0.5405 5 45-30 0.6000
Utah State

Big East
0.5368 6 63-22 0.7412

0.5273 7 43-35 0.5513

Conference USA is 12th, which seems about right given the exceptionally good year they are having. Usually more like mid-teens. West Coast will likely drop significantly after Washington State, Oregon state and Gonzaga are gone after next season. Valley should be positioned to maintain top 10 for quite awhile, especially if the bottom feeders can just become mediocre. (under 200.)

You do realize you would be 8th in that conference correct?

Uhhh ya? Reinforces my point? I keep seeing that the Bears are running away to an inferior league...

They are. All the good teams got poached which is why you and Delaware had room to join.

Keep in mind that all the mid-level conferences moved up at least one spot from last season.

The AAC is being carried by Liberty right now. The MVC is down this year yet still has 3 teams currently in the top 100.

Good to see the new kids on the block doing their part to boost the league - the Racers and the Bruins.

SLU’s NET falls to 236 and behind one of the worst teams in Indiana St history.

Not a joke. Saint Louis, after poaching Schertz/Avila/Swope, legitimately has a 236 NET and trails one of Indiana St’s worst teams ever.

They needed UMass Lowell’s buzzer beater being a split-second late to beat them and last night trailed 0-8 Jackson St for majority of the game before taking control late.

Indiana State has had plenty of bad teams. This is not one of them so far.
