I only saw the first 20ish mins before bears game. I just had a bad feeling but was also trying to reverse jinx it. Glad we went 2-0 today but by God uic.

Wont be the get healthy feel good easy win some have become accustomed to. Powell has charisma and can recruit- is that enough to overcome structural challenges currently present at Valpo? We will see. Meanwhile this season better lace em up nice and tight. Stirtz had to go nuts late to pull it out for Drake thursday and not everybody has a Stirtz.

We've never had 5 guys that could hit threes at will like this team can. It's only real weaknesses are interior D and rebounding but theres no real threats as far as bigs in our conference so barring injuries, 16-4 at a minimum should be the expectation now and possibly 18-2. The return of Zek is enormous as he can create his own shot where Connor couldnt. We miss Mal on D but Wardle will work the D into better form as the year goes on. And unlike the Drake that plays its top two guys 40 each and every night, our minutes are spread out much more evenly. I didnt know what to expect after Mal and Connor left and thought we'd be 21-10. That mark would be a huge disappointment now. I expect to be ranked by mid January. Net moved from 70 to 54 after last night. Get to 13-1 and lets see those votes! Go BU!
It's definitely post-beatdown bliss.
It might not be the best team Wardle has had, let alone the 05-06 team. I'd probably argue for the 06-07 BU team, too.
I will definitely slow my roll on how good Bradley is after watching us turtle on Saturday. We just lack the banger type bigs to compete with larger teams. Hannah isnt Childs. We really needed another portal find for a big. At this point, since we kept Linke another year, lets use him a few min a night for some boards at least. Our guards are the best in the league, we just lack the stones at the 4-5. disappointing but another shot at redemption for a 5th year senior who scored 1 point on Saturday coming on Wednesday....big game
Regardless of the subjective "best" team debate, BU should be happy about that performance on the road.
