It's also meaningless because Lunardi phones in his predictions until the end. He just picked Drake as an at large because he just goes by whoever is leading at the moment. Him picking Drake as an at large means he really thinks Drake will win the conference.

He picked Bradley as the automatic qualifier to win the conference and Drake as an at-large among the last 4 in. That obviously may not hold, but I'm not sure you were looking closely at the projected field. I think I know what you're saying ... he (his interns) usually just pencil in the league leader, but that's as the aq (automatic qualifier), not at large.

Bradley, UNI, Drake and I'm not sure Drake holds there.

To be honest, it's Bradley's to lose - and they very well could lose it because they definitely have some holes.

If Drake wants a say, they need to beat Bradley this Wednesday in Peoria. First one to 70 wins that game.

But no, there aren't nine teams who could win the league. Not even close.
