I never said you were an OVC level team - I said the REST of the league aren't OVC scrubs you can walk over. Teams try to win here.

UNI, Bradley and Drake aren't just going to say "Wow, Murray State has a NEW COACH and signed some dudes in the spring, we give up." Are the guys Murray signed thus far better than AJ Ferguson, JaCobi Wood, Nick Ellington, Terence Harcum, and KyeRon Lindsay? What evidence is there that they are? That roster finished 7th.

We had an OVC board years ago that was the best, it was kinda the de facto board for several teams that didn’t have their own and saw a lot of traffic. Owner shut it down out of the blue and refused to transfer it, just deleted it all. It’s nice to be in a league finally with fans that GAS.

Man, Valpo’s in a lot of trouble if they’re getting outbid in NIL for Carson Schweiger by Queens.

Murray boosting their NIL to $1 million has been a difference maker for them in talent acquisition. Even if this year’s team doesn’t come together, you got to like their long-term prospects with their NIL foundation.

It's just a "good" get for Murray. Maybe Coach Miller has a particular use for Jalen. In Coach Ehsan's system, Jackson was an out of control turnover machine who trailed off terribly in the second half of the season. Murray has another body. Whether he's a game changer remains to be seen.

My take on this wasn't necessarily that Valpo was "outbid" by Queens. But that Queens is only 1.5 hrs away from Wake Forest. The Schwiegers are very "family oriented" so my best guess was Carson didn't get in at Wake and elected to go here to be closer to brother.
