I am hearing Stewart is having 2nd thoughts about Bradley. Also heard that it's doubtful Harris and Abell end up in Peoria too.

Stewart is still committed, but taking the cautious approach. It's the smart move.

Sean Harris? He hasn't played basketball in almost 3 years. What could he really give you? Would Les really have been in the position to take on yet another 'project'?

Abell? Whatever. Wells? Whatever. Probably redshirting anyways.

Kids gotta do what's best for them, plain and simple. Don't get me wrong - If guys committed to us and signed their LOI's, then I would love to see what they have to offer. But Les wasn't tearing up the recruiting trail (a big reason why we finished last), so what leads one to believe these guys were going to be any better?

Then why in the world would you make this thread? Stewart is a Jim Les recruit too.

Because some said as a scare tactic that 'it was certain' that all recruits would leave. Nothing was certain when the statement was made, and nothing is certain now.

FWIW, I'd take them both in a second.

I think ISU has a very good PG coming in along with a very athletic 6-3 guard and a 6-4 shooter.

I think the talent at the guard spots are gonna be on the upswing.

How about this - We send you a guard and you send us Carmichael? I'm tired of that guy looking like an all-american against us! ;)

haha. How about we grab one of your recruits who are having second thoughts instead........we still have one scholarship to give.

Remy Abell supposedly asking out of his LOI. Not surprising.

It says he's a 'special' talent. That very well may be. But there's little evidence he'd have realized his full potential under Les, given Jim's record on player development. Is he ceiling somewhere between Chris Roberts and Andrew Warren? Where did we go with those guys?

Looks like Donivine Stewart wasn't lying after all, like some here and elsewhere were so positive he was.

http://www.pjstar.com/bradleyhoops/x796074168/Current-future-BU-players-like-what-they-see

Limestone High School guard Donivine Stewart attended the news conference and met Ford before the proceedings began. Stewart said he’s all in with the new regime.

“I think they made a great hire,’’ Stewart said, “but I never had any doubts. When I said I wanted to play for my city and play for Bradley, I meant it.’’
