MVC baseball tourney Game 8 - Creighton vs Missouri St

Missouri State adds an insurance run in the 7th. Now 6-2.

MSU leads 7-2 with one out and two on in the 7th. Game looks to be well in control for MSU. Creighton will have to play at 12:30 tomorrow against SIU.

Bears will play tomorrow night at 7:30pm against the winner of the CU-SIU game.

I didn't expect to see a big crowd at the CU game, but I thought somebody would have went to the game. There are probably more shocker fans watching the game online as CU fans at the game.

With Ty pitching the way he has been, one run might be enough.

The one good thing out of the evening for Creighton is that both aces are probably available for at least some work on Saturday, if they get there. Ty almost certainly.....he might even start. Not a good day for CU, but there is light. Biggest problem is MSU looks like the class of the tourney.

Somebody tell me again why the MVC tournament is in Nebraska? Did Omaha have to test the stadium in an official capacity before the CWS as part of an agreement -kind of like Wichita's hosting of the women's NCAA's before getting a shot at hosting the men's tournament?

This is embarrassing, maybe Omaha's new municipal stadium should have had a short soccer exhibition during the 7th inning stretch. That would have brought out the BJ fans I bet!!!11 I hope all the Shocker fans clapped some for the BJ's so they at least felt like they were at home.
