No school's worst team in 25 years deserves to go to an NCAA Regional. It would have been highly embarrassing for the league if that had happened. Congrats to the entire conference.

Congrats to the Jays. I don't like it when the better team doesn't win, especially if it keeps more deserving teams out of the NCAAs and make no mistake, CU was the more deserving team.

Just back from post game interviews. Both WSU and CU were gracious.

Jonas Dufek was name Most Outstanding Player of the tournament. He denied having any personal goals in tonight's matchup with Lowell who beat him out for Pitcher of the Year in the MVC.

Creighton was the better team tonight. Should be an interesting post season discussion between Sexton and Stephenson about the future of the program.

Hauled the TV outside tonight as we had a great evening in wichita. We had hotdogs on the grill. Toasted buns, onions, jalapenos,relish etc and beer and black crown. Out there with 4 of my Shock friends. Would not of bugged me if Shox won as I believe CU is in. CU's pitching was the nuts. Curious why Gene did not alter his batting order. Last 3 dudes have sucked the whole tourney. Couple of those freshman looked good PHing against Ind. St in the blowout. LF didn't have a hit the whole tourney?

Too bad this tournament wasn't in Evansville. Would have liked to watch it. Nothing like seeing the Shox get behind early.

My scan of most major college baseball games tonight shows that the game in Omaha was the highest attended college game of the day. By a lot.
