Personally, I think someone has been dragging their feet on getting this schedule completed. I can't imagine that many teams being afraid of Playing WSU, especially BCS schools. We have 3 home games left to be scheduled, and there has been no mention of whether the 2 contracts sent out for home games were accepted or not.

I was looking over the MVC schedules and haven't seen a final WSU basketball schedule yet. Anyone with new info?

Nothing substantial except we are down to working on 1 game. Lots of rumors about that game, but it's probably just a matter of finding the right road apple that needs a check.

Looking at that schedule, I'd say that wsu really really needs to beat Uconn. A lot of pressure to win that game. And they probably have to go through the rest of the non-con with 1 or less losses. There's a few bad rpi teams on there that will hurt them.

I'd argue that the entire MVC really needs WSU to beat UConn. If they do, the league benefits in so many ways. The conference RPI will improve and WSU's strength of schedule will be so much better playing in the winners brackets (vs. Michigan State, for example) rather than against Chaminade.

Seems like a pretty decent schedule to me. As is the norm for all MVC schools (who aren't picked last) pretty much all of the good games are away from home. I just don't see that changing...ever.

Key to RPI for the MVC Conference as whole is just about winning and winning regardless of who they play. If the MVC wins a lot they will have a good RPI. If they lose a lot they will have a bad RPI. No single game will is "critical". Now there are some other intangible perception issues that might have some effects.
