Will be interested to see what happens here. Anyone hearing info down there on how the other visit went?

The Ellis family has done a GREAT job of keeping things pretty quiet. Perry rarely speaks and when he does he's very diplomatic. Same for Fonda. She's been doing most of the talking lately and has been positive about both the KU and KSU visits. We get to make our case today and Kentucky on Friday. I still think it's really a two team race between KU and WSU and hope we hear a little on how it goes tomorrow. I've read reports on the first two schools, but we don't have a dedicated Rivals type of site that does this and will have to rely on Sully to talk to Fonda at some point.

I hope WSU gets him simply to raise the profile of the Valley. A question for Shox fans - does he consider himself a "one and done" guy? If so, it seems likely to me that he'd choose Kentucky or Kansas just to get on TV as much as possible.

It's been talked about, but I'm not sure what Perry really thinks. I believe he thinks that he may not stay 4 years wherever he goes. But he's a smart kid with good parents. I'd love the see Perry step into the Valley and be a force from day one. I think he could be. The great thing about Perry is that he doesn't have to be the center of attention and is very much a team player. I think that would fit in great in Wichita. He'd still get his stats.

I'm still convinced it's a two team battle between KU and WSU. I'm hopeful.

I truely believe Perry and his family feel that academics are a very strong consideration. (yeah, yeah, insert the WSU junior college academics here). So I think for NOW he is planning on working towords a degree. I think he understands you never can tell what will happen with basketball so an education is just as important of a factor as getting ready for the NBA. Plus I believe that playing close enough to home that his parents can watch him in person is pretty important to him.

IMHO I think he chooses KU. I'm still holding out hope for WSU though!

I havent seen any indication that he aspires to be one and done. He definitely has NBA aspirations but is a very smart realistic thinking kid. Last i heard he was a 4.0 student as well.
