Anthony Beane Jr. Commits to Redbirds (2012)

This was mostly expected as Anthony Beane Sr. is an assistant coach for the team. The important thing to note is that he did have offers from both Iowa, Boston College and interest from the illini before choosing Illinois State.

The 2012 recruiting class in Illinois is generally regarded as weaker than most years in Illinois, however, there is something special about anthony Beane Jr. and he does come from good stock as his father played for Kansas St.. He should make for a good redbird guard and a good valley player. Has a lot of upside.

I was still a little bit of a KSU fan when Beane Sr. played there. I liked watching him play. His son looks a lot like him, from what I remember.
