apologies to the non UNI fans who stayed up to watch this.

gut check time for the Panthers. Are they going to come out in the second half and show fight or pack things up and countdown the seconds until they can get out of there.

Looking rough. Travel and game time definitely seeming to have an effect. Fortunately UNI defense has kept them from getting completely blown out of the gym. Charge call on Mitchell and 2nd foul on James were turning points. Need to start the half well or it seems I'll be heading to bed earlier then I was hoping.

Blocks/charges been huge in this game. Mitchell was an absolute no call, thought Shonen should have drawn the charge, and Tuttle wimped out at the last minute.
Thoughts and prayers to WSU finding a new conference.

Not looking good so far. Probably not a lot you will be able to take away from this game considering the across country travel involved within 48 hours. Hopefully they can find a way to turn it around and make it half way interesting in the 2nd half

It's late at night and maybe some of the "be polite" filters aren't working any more, but this is (pick one or more)
A. brutal
B. embarrassing
C. painful to watch
D. a continuation of last year without O'Rear

13 points for UNI in the first half? Tell me I've fallen asleep and this is just a bad dream. St. Mary's isn't doing much better with 26, but that's enough to double up the Panthers.

all of those. At the moment UNI doesn't have a post that can actually play in the post.

With 13 minutes left, James is 1 of 13 from the field. And he missed a lot of the first half with 2 fouls.

Now it's 40 -21 with 12:20 left. UNI is on a pace to score 30.

Not getting much better. In fact it is getting worse. AJ can't make a thing. Johnny is missing layups. And to top off the complete and utter lack of offense we are not playing defense either.

And the ROUT is on!

I think UNI is starting to just give up.

It's past "starting".

14-0 run and SMU up 48 - 21.

James is now 1/15.
