The whole Bizoukas thing is bothersome to me. Long long ago, he committed to Northern Iowa, only to back out when the Big East (DePaul) came calling. At that time, I guess he probably thought the MVC wasn't good enough for his talents [speculation]. Now he's back. I don't really know what to think about this guy. He doesn't seem committed to any school or team. Just my realitively uninformed vew.

He backed out after a conversation with coach Jacobson. "his style and demeanor when I approached him about it made the decision easier"

His comments at the time were that he wanted to have the chance to play at the highest level. Well, he occasionally played for DePaul, but he missed out on chances at the Big Dance with UNI. His loss, not ours.

Help me out beatingrillz.....is that quote from Jacobson or Bizoukas? What is the "it" that is mentioned in the quote?

Do you have a link, so that I can get the context of this quote?

And our (MSU) gain in the end. I don't really care about his prior years or who he turned down. He's a heck of a PG - the kind that truly makes others around him better. I'm glad to have him for this year.

Different situation, Michael never signed a Letter of Intent, only verballed. DePaul came in late and he went with the program in the bigger conference, not necessarily the better program. He would have been in the class that graduated last year (same year as O'Rear) unless he redshirted.

As it was, we saved the scholarship and signed a juco the next year named Farohkmanesh. I guess it worked out fine for us.

As for McDecommit, I have settled that he was never going to be a Panther for four years anyways. Daddy Bigbucks was just stashing his little darling with his "friend" until he got his butt canned at Iowa State and ended up elsewhere. At which point he would have asked his "friend" to let his son come wherever he ended up next. Just happened that one opened up before Iowa State dumped him and we never got anything out of it. So be it.
