Wichita State Shockers at Evansville (Wed, Jan 4th)

One of the better defensive teams in the country vs one of the worst defensive teams in the country. One of the best rebounding teams in the country vs. one of the worst rebounding teams in the country. UE has trouble against both size and athleticism, something WSU both has a good amount of. If UE keeps it within 20 points, I will be surprised.

Since it is at home I think UE has a chance. They have to be hitting from the perimeter though. At least IMO.

The only way I see WSU losing is if they start jacking up treys instead of working it inside.

That is my thinking also. I though UNI really hurt themselves by janking 3's the whole game. Whenever they wanted to go inside it didn't really seem that Evansville had an answer.

I was impressed with Harris. It will be interesting to see if he gives WSU guards as much trouble as UNI guards.

At this point, I think many WSU fans would be fine with Murry and/or Stutz getting in foul trouble. The way they both played against CU, we may be better with them on the bench right now. Maybe it's just me still blowing steam, but both of these guys need to figure out a way to show up and take this team by the reigns. Talk is cheap, time to see some senior leadership out of these guys.

That is crazy talk. When WSU has played well it has been because of Murray and Stutz have had solid contributions. Murray has played solid in almost all his games this year until the CU game.

Agree with above. The best thing for WSU would be to have Murry and Stutz play well; not to be benched for poor play.
