Wichita State Shockers at Evansville (Wed, Jan 4th)

Baller, I would refer to you as "classless", but that would indicate you had class in the beginning and you lost it. What would your response on the board be in Evansville would have tipped the ball in and won on the last play? I cannot wait for this analysis.

How am I being classless? I'm excited that my team won and said nothing demeaning about the Aces. You, on the other hand, have yet to offer congrats, unlike one of your counterparts.

Again, if we tip the ball in, what is your analysis?

The only reasonable analysis would have been that Stutz didn't get enough "garbage" points.

Don't group all of ones fan base with a select few. I'm a WSU fan, but respect any school that puts forth the resources to win. I just wish all the schools in the Valley had the resources to do that.

I'm still kind of blowing off steam after our loss. You seem to be a quality poster. Not all Shockers are bad, just quite a few seem to get jacked up after every single perceived slight and continue reminding people about it 6 months later. But like I said, I'm a bit agitated so I might be overreacting.

Absolutely gut-wrenching loss.....heartbreaking.....but one helluva good game to watch, two teams trading shots all night, Ryan and Stutz putting on shows. My heart goes out to Harris, he played his balls off tonight, feel sick for the kid. Congrats Shockers and good luck the rest of the way.

Tough way to lose a game. Proud of the UE effort to battle back from down 10 at the end of the 1st half and again by 8 in the 2nd. Gritty effort that just came up short. Without Kenny's contributions up to that point the game would have been over long ago. Loved to see the way Colt wanted the ball down the stretch, he had a great night.

Congrats to the Shockers on the win. Did a good job of exploiting the matchups inside with both Stutz and then posting Smith on the opposite block in the 2nd half. Road wins aren't typically easy in this league so getting this one and getting up to 2-1 with a whole host of others has to be a positive.

Should be an interesting conference season, after 3 games nobody's left unscathed and every single night is going to be a challenge.

I think E'ville is emerging as an upper-half team, like posters here predicted in the pre-season prediction threads. I don't know what happened in OOC play,m but the Aces are "aces" in Valley play.

Ryan may be a better pure shooter than DMac. I've watched 2 Aces games in the last couple of days and Ryan is the best shooter I've seen in this league in a long time. If the Aces had anything other than some Fr in the front court, they'd be an awesome team.

If the ball would have been tip in the court might have been rush. UE allow WSU to get a 8-10 point lead too many time only to come back and make it close or take the lead. Harris's missed free throw gave us an opportunity to tip it in but I feel the Shockers are glad to snatch a 1 point victory and leave town quickly. I just heard their plane overhead.

Every game has a winner and an also ran. Tonight UE will look forward to Witchita and mark a X on their calendars. Revenge is SWEEEEET

Well have to admit I didn't expect this. Although it doesn't make me feel near as bad for losing to E'Ville now. Wait who I am I kidding I still feel horrible for how we lost that game.

Sounds like this game was a doozy! Would have liked to watch it. Looks like the league is far too balanced this year for us to get more than possibly two in again this year, though.
