It was nice to see UNI play with some intensity again. I got really scared twice in the 2nd half when ISU made a run, but our guys played tough and kept their heads. This is the UNI team I had gotten used to watching in our 9 game win streak. Playing with heart, and making some shots. Our defense was also outstanding tonight. Indiana State only had a couple of open looks all night.

If we keep playing like that we can be top 3 in the conference. If we play like we did the previous 3 games we will be on Thursday in StL. Hopefully we can keep playing like that, but I think we might get some inconsistencies, and end up somewhere in between.

I still think ISU can have a good season in conference. Lathan is a beast. I am confused as to why McWhorter starts and Lathan doesn't. The problem is that they are not very deep. If Walker gets in foul trouble like tonight they don't have much else inside. Odum was a liability on defense most of tonight too. He couldn't stay in front of anyone he was guarding. I still think ISU avoids Thursday, but they will probably be middle of the pack. Shock some teams and lose some games they shouldn't just like us.

Great game for UNI. That was the team that we saw the first 10 games of the season. Defense dominated pretty much all night, and played with great energy and intensity. Hope that UNI can keep it going into Drake on Saturday.
