They are both RS transfer walk-ons (though Mitchell should be a junior). Mitchell left his scholly at Ohio U after his JUCO AA season. Armstead was preseason all PAC12 prior to the transfer.

Armstead is a transfer sitting out this year from Oregon. He is not receiving any aid this year.

Mitchell is from Wichita, was an JUCO AA guard from Hutch, signed with Ohio and left after summer school because he was home sick. Since he took aid from Ohio this summer he was not eligible to play this year. He is a walkon and will be a walkon. Not sure how much he will contribute but who knows.

Got ya. Next season should be better for them than it seems as someone who is looking at the roster w/o that info.

Armstead is not on ESPN's roster. I switched to WSU's and he is there. Sorry about that confusion
