Thanks. That first half was quite a performance: inside game, outside game, defense, penetration, etc, etc, etc. Yall need for Stutz to stay healthy and I can see a run to a Sweet Sixteen, if the cards fall your way.

Shockers should be ranked. Period.
There are three rules that I live by, never get less than 12 hours sleep, never gamble with a guy who has the same first name as a city and never get involved with a chick with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Stick to that and everything else is gravy!

Yes! UCLA went on to win 10 of 11 using two dominating 7 footers. Now name a team in the modern era that has won w/o a 6-8 player. 3 inches is a huge difference.

Mizzou is the #2 team in the country, and their tallest player is 6-8, and he is not a post player.

It can be done, but it has to be done with speed, which Evansville does not really have. UE plays a style that really requires some good big men, IMO. They would be so much better if they had some quality size.

Agreed. We are a 6'10 or 6' 11" player away from being able to match up with some other Valley teams. But again, other programs say the same thing.

I called the same thing on Shockernet and at halftime did not think we would be able to claw back into the game.

WSU was up big from the get-go, led by 17 at the half, was up by as many as 25 in the 2nd. Final score was closer than the actual game itself.

Another moral victory for the Aces. Congrats to them.

16 of 19. 11 straight in Wichita.

Right but he is on the team, just like Colt Ryan is on the aces.

So what's your point?

Congrats Shockers, unfortunately the game went pretty much as expected.....Wichita is just flat out impressive and if that performance is typical of Murry, he's got my vote for defensive POY. Still, very proud of our team, especially our 2 freshmen up front, they didn't back down and never gave up.

Aces were defeated tonight by a very good team...with a 7 footer that we had no stop for. Congrats to the Shockers. Would love to have won the game, not happy with a 12 pt. loss...nor was Marty who voiced his disapproval of our play on the post-game show. I did like what I saw in our two freshmen post players, Rokas and Sawvell. Together they scored almost the same as Stutz, and they will get better. I am proud of our team for never quitting, even when we were down 25 pts. Someday, soon I hope, that fighting spirit will result in a lot more wins than losses.
