This.

I was thinking it was MSU without a doubt. Patterson seems to have a high ankle sprain. That's an injury that could keep him out or limit his effectiveness through all of February.

The contenders all seem to have reasonably similar schedules left. If Patterson is out for a few weeks, MSU has Weems, IllSt has Carmichael, UNI has "team". UNI has dug themselves a hole, so I've got to go with MSU without Patterson.

Probably IlSU in at least a tie for 4th with UNI making a run for the upper half of the league - and UE making a run for Thursday night.

We beat UNI at UNI.

We beat MSU at MSU.

Give me some logic for UE and Thursday, other than the name on the front of our jerseys.

Scroll down and look at Nolan's projection for UE.

FWIW, Patterson is listed as day to day.

Not that I agree with Aargh on this, but UE lost to Drake at home and lost at Ind St and at Ill St. MSU beat Drake at home and UNI beat Drake twice. MSU won at Indiana St. Bottom line is that winning at UNI or at MSU doesn't gain you anything here. There is too much parity between 3 and 9 and whomever takes third is going to have to proove it to someboday as it is simply a crap shoot at the moment. Personnaly I like Evansville, Drake, and Ill St to all go 4-4 to end the season with UNI, SIU and MSU going 3-5.

ISUr wins at home over WSU and then on the road at Bradley for the last two of the season to get the edge for 3rd.

If anythings for sure, the 3-6 and 4-5 games in St. Louis are going to be really fun to watch.

You guys may make me eat crow on this one. But I am going to go out on a limb. UE's Valley record includes 3 one possession losses. So, the computer is not smart enough to know the difference between a loss and a close loss. Man is.

Mark us down for a 4th place finish :)

UNI is not playing like a 3rd place team right now. I'll be happy with anything over a 5 seed in St. Louis.

Missouri stat has 4 losses by 2 points for regulation games. The Aces are good but I see them in 5th not 7th. Personally I see UNI as a possible play in team still

Well, this thread hasn't cleared anything up for me. I think Creighton is strong enough to finish 3rd.
