Are you calling Andy a liar? Because he has stated unequivocally that he does not have a say in the match-ups. Just curious from where you draw your information.

Who does he work for? What is his job? No say.................hogwash. He just doesn't want any of the credit (criticism) for his input. You think they just pay him to write a blog? Watch his input on the Big Dance show later in the season and his regular input & evaluation on Sportscenter regularly. Yeah right, he has no say in the matter.

BirdmanBB, with all due respect you're NUTS if you think we're gonna be in an espn game this year, no way, now how. We're terrible, the pre-MVC schedule and win at Vandy mean nothing now

BirdmanBB wrote:Right now I think Creighton, WSU, MSU, Drake and Indiana St. could all be on some form of ESPN. You have to keep in mind that the home teams have much stronger RPI's than the road teams this year. You are going to get a lot of teams within the top 100 playing teams outside of the top 100. This is why I think Indiana St. has a chance at the very least some sort of ESPN game as there are 13 televised ones this year.

I think all Valley fans (and the league itself) would like to see the CU-SMC and WSU-MSU games, but I'm less confident that they will happen. Hopeful, but not certain. Here's my final plea...

I'm sensing St. Mary's vs Murray St. Of course, if they happen to lose tonight at BYU......

I am afraid that is going to happen regardless.

Screw um! If CU and WSU get lesser opponents, so be it. Both should be ranked by season end. Just keep winning baby.

I tweeted yesterday that if CU isn't playing St Mary's College and WSU isn't playing Murray St., the league office has failed us. Unfortunately, it sounds more and more like we aren't going to get the matchups we covet.
