Before anybody gets bent out of shape because I'm disrespecting their team, I respect good defense.

Yeah, 35 might do it, but I wouldn't say I've seen good defense, either. Bad passing, bad shooting, a lack of energy on both teams. The empty arena doesn't help, but I'm not going to rail on that. The SIU announcers are about as bad as the play on the floor.

Maybe I just need to pop some popcorn and enjoy it, kind of like watching a bad movie on purpose.

Now that the excitement of the Florida Primary is over, I've started following this game.

Is this one of the ESPN games Elgin got in exchange for pimping out the league for 4 years?

I think this is one of those Valley games that Elgin would just prefer that nobody sees.

Faster scoring second half. Under 16, SIU up 29-27, UNI shooting freethrows on an intentional foul. In my opinion, it was a foul, but not intentional.

I'm glad I missed the first half. They're scoring at a pace about twice as fast as they did in the first half - and This is BAD! What on earth happened to UNI and Jacobsen? Results like UNI is getting after the hot start lead to rumors of the abyss.

To be fair, this half is much more entertaining then the first.
