Jet, when my son was an Ace he never won in Carbondale, played on 4 losing teams, and typically played on Thursday night. Sorry, we got to celebrate when we can. I did not expect us to pull this off. Let our 100 students celebrate.

Let them enjoy it. Serious question. When was the last time Evansville beat a ranked team at home? I am sure it hasn't been THAT long...just wondering. Did you guys beat Butler at home when they were ranked? Creighton a few years ago?

I don't think Butler was ranked this year when we beat them. I would imagine it was Creighton a few years ago.

Great win Aces. I didn't see the game but why wouldn't CU pound the ball into Echenique? It doesn't sound like they did?

If there was ever a night to celebrate in Evansville, I would think this would qualify.

I can't remember if there was a storming of the court. But I remember one of the first times we beat a ranked team on the "home" floor. It was one of the first times in a LONNNGGGG time. I was pretty damn excited. Oddly enough it was a Creighton team ranked about #12 the year Koch was getting renovated. Evansville deserves to celebrate anyway they see fit.

I think the last time UE beat a ranked team at home was #24 UNI in 2009. Butler was not ranked at the start of this year (or any other time this season)

This is surprising. I thought CU would get this one. Continuing to shoot 3's when they're not falling is EPIC FAIL. Wragge and Manigat a combined 2/11.

I would have felt better about WSU's chances Saturday if CU had won. I don't see CU dropping 3 in a row. Of course, we've got to get by UNI first.
