I'd be surprised if they get a vote to be honest. Taking nothing away from Wichita today as I don't know if there are more than a few teams in the country that would have beat them, but man Creighton looks like a different team right now. Something seems to be off, they are still getting basically the same shots as they have all year, just not getting anything to fall right now.

Yea I agree, this win will not get the Shockers noticed,CU are way overrated and heck Evansville could have beat them today as poor as they are.

Fred, you mean the same Evansville team that competed very well against WSU and beat CU?

WSU was already receiving votes. Also true CU just lost it's 3rd in a row, but WSU beat them by 21 in Omaha. Somebody will notice that.

My guess is maybe one but not both or just outside of both, we shall see.

The Shockers - and not Creighton - appear to be in a different class than the rest of their competitors in one of the nation’s most underrated leagues. Their 89-68 annihilation of the Bluejays was eye-opening for a variety of reasons, the main one being that it came in front of the largest crowd ever to see a game at the CenturyLink Center.

Not that things ever got rowdy.

Instead, most of the 18,735 in attendance sat in disbelief as Wichita State connected on 58 percent of its shots, eight of its 16 3-point attempts and all 17 of its free throws in its most dominating performance of the season. The loss was the worst for Creighton at home since 1995.
