I have a feeling that WSU is going to be the popular national pick to go deep in the tourney. I think the talk has already started on ESPN.

Great news! I'm holding out hope that Weems and Patterson can pull a Sycamore streak out of somewhere and get them into the dance this year.

I think most teams 3-6 are.

Maybe, but the Bears have the best shot. ISUr would be 0-2 had the Bears had Patterson in both games.

Yeah, maybe the Bears have the best shot. Maybe Drake would be 9-6 if Simons didn't have Mono and maybe UNI is peeking at the right time...

There are six really good teams in this conference with less than impressive records and one of them has shown difficulty closing out close games.

I don't really think we can say who has the "best shot" until the matchups are figured out. Also, the woulda...coulda...shoulda argument with Patterson is lame. If you had him the first game, maybe he plays like crap. If he continues to play instead of trying to pull off a fake flop in the second game and injuring himself because of it, he doesn't produce as well as the next guy that steps in. If our guys had eaten their whole power bars before the game instead of just half, neither game would have been close. ;)

Considering Patterson played in Normal, not sure what your point is?

He gets hit in the head and falls backward and it's a fake flop. Glad I have the new definition. Thanks!

I thought this was talked about to no end, but he was not hit in the head. Replay proved it.

Actually I think ALL of the teams 3 to 6 in the MVC have had difficulty closing out close games.
