It would be awesome if WSU and CU were at the same site.

Also, is it possible for CU to be in Omaha? Not sure what the rules are on that; Louisville gets to play in Louisville but CU can't play in Omaha? Does it have to do with the arena they play in?
Thoughts and prayers to WSU finding a new conference.

Creighton can't play in Omaha.

I would love it if WSU came here though.

Not going to happen unless WSU falls between a 7-10 seed as KU and Mizzou are going to be in Omaha.

Why do you think Louisville gets to play in Louisville? I believe the rule is that you can't play in your home city if you are the "host" of the site and if you have played more than three games that year in the arena. There may be more rules than that, but I'm pretty sure on these two.

Well, if both KU and Mizzou get sent here (especially if one is the day session and one is the night session), it won't matter anyway because I'd probably sell all my tickets and make enough to go watch the Jays in whatever city they get sent to (and still have money left).

I don't think it is a home city issue; the ban is on playing in the same arena in which you play your home games.

For example, the Philly schools could play in Philly as long as the tourney isn't taking place in their home arena.

But if you are the official host of the site, I don't believe you can play there even if it isn't in your arena. Is the MVC hosting or Creighton in Omaha out of curiousity?

Butler was the "official host" of the Final Four when it was in Indianapolis two years ago -- but that's just a bit different. :Yea!:

Lunardi's new bracket out and WSU is a 5 playing Cincy in Portland. Creighton is a 6 playing Xavier in Pittsburgh.

Good pub from Andy Katz too:
3. I hope the selection committee was paying attention Saturday. If you watched Long Beach State, Creighton, Drexel and Wichita State you would agree that these are four tournament-level teams that could win games in the NCAAs. And this will be the problem going forward if a few were on the bubble (I don’t see the Shockers in that predicament). You can’t tell me that you’re more impressed watching Seton Hall or Connecticut of late (especially against Louisville) more than these four. These four teams will make the tournament a better watch and shouldn’t be out if they continue to take care of business ahead.
