To be somewhat fair Aargh said multiple "reports" not articles. Sounds like I am splitting hairs but I have heard on a few occasions that Hawkins appears to be on the right path with his schoolwork. The previous was the only actual article I have seen. However, I believe Suellentrop has been keeping an eye on his progress since he first signed with WSU in November and has either blogged about it a couple times or maybe mentioned it during one of his Q/A sessions. I believe coach has maybe mentioned it during his coaches show when asked.

Anyway, probably doesn't clear anything up, but it has been said more than once locally that Hawkins appears to be doing what he needs to do so far.

I am hoping he continues to work hard at school, keeps himself in a good frame of mind and out of any trouble.

Saying anything positive about WSU in this forum just opens a can of worms. Same thing for saying anything negative bout CU or Doug McDermott.

It's just not allowed and always results in 3 or 4 pages of misquoted replies, assumed insults when none were intended or made, followed by the assertion that all WSU fans are elitist a$$holes. Can't answer a question with what is felt to be an honest and straightforward answer without someone getting their panties i a wad.

Since we're splitting hairs, here's what he said:

Aargh wrote:There have been multiple reports that Hawkins is "making good academic progress". Those have been coming from his coach and have been published in a newspaper that requires a confirmation. There is a reason to be optimistic about Hawkins' eligibility.

So he did say "reports" but then said they were "published in a newspaper that requires a confirmation."

DJA, if I actually cared about any of your opinions or whether you believed anything I might say, then I might do the digging and research to find links that are months old.

Since you tend to be mostly a burr under a saddle and most of your posts seem to be nitpicking attempts to misquote, misstate, misinterpret, and generally be argumentative, allow me to use a famous line from a very old movie: "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn".

I will gladly let you live blissfully in your fantasy land where you are the only human who ever has the correct information, attitude, and knowledge.

Kabooms are in limited supply this year, and we are trying to stockpile as many as we can for Arch Madness.

:+1:

The elitist personality of that Bluejay fan is quite high. He needs to follow his own advice more than he does giving it.
