Come on DJA, you don't find this newsworthy?

Also of note, Indiana State is having issues with the stomach flu per the Tribune Star.

EO looked like a dreamcrusher against Drake. The dude is big and agile. That being said he is raw, I don't see the sense in pumping him up for no reason.

I also don't see the sense in people jumping on WSU fans for posting illness/injury reports. I didn't know that they were all sick. semi-interesting info if you are going to the tourney this year. Maybe some people just enjoy being a douche?

hope everyone gets healthy for the Lou. I would love for the Jays to get to Sunday and have another matchup with WSU.

I do not reports of "unspecified illness with coughing" to be newsworthy. Its spring in the midwest - everybody with allergies is congested and coughing.

I went to a Creighton booster luncheon yesterday and there were some players there. I specifically heard one of them cough. I guess he has an unspecified illness with coughing too.

(As an aside, I met Mark Turgeon's mom and dad at the same luncheon yesterday. They've been to these luncheons before, but this is the first time I've had a chance to talk with them; they seem like very nice people.)

Seriously? If you'd like to read an entire post and disregard all the noteworthy stuff and only comment on what IS NOT IMPORTANT TO YOU. Then yeah, I've got to agree with jayball.

Tons of "hype" around EO still. He's 23 and at the end of his junior year and has yet to make a significant contribution. He may never be any more than a fleeting nightmare for a few MVC opponents, but the build-up is certainly due to the freakish athleticism and the thought that he might just "get it!" It doesn't take an NBA scout to tell that his size/strength/athleticism combo is a thing of rare beauty in college basketball. It also doesn't take a little league coach to tell you that if you kick the entry pass off your knee you are going to have more turn-overs than points. Any way you slice it, he is fun to watch!

EO is fun to watch because he makes stuff happen in his limited opportunities. It usually entails several swats into the 3rd row and a monster jam or two. He seriously lacks any shooting ability. That said, all his minutes come when Stutz is hurt (1 game out), or both Hall and Stutz get into foul trouble. In these situations, the opposing team is totally unprepared for EO and probably has spent almost zero time game planning against him. As such, he creates utter chaos within the flow of the game. I think if he becomes a starter next year, things might be different. He really needs to develop some offense to be effective over the course of a season in a starting role. His defense will speak for itself and, incredibly, he plays without fouling too much.

GodOrupkeGod. What meaningful contribution has he given to WSU so far other than making you smile when we swats an opposing walkons shot at the end of the game?
