Lost a lot of respect for the Wichita State fans and coaching staff for their comments after their defeat at the hands of Illinois State. Whining on the Shocker board has to be at an all time high. Need to take it like a man. Coach crying about the officiating (hell coach, your team shot about 25% from the field; suppose that had anything to do with it/conspiracy my a##). The Woodfox fiasco a couple of years ago might have raised the conspiracy flags for a screw job but Illinois State just took it to the Shockers, did not back down. was the best team at that time and won the game. Again, take it like a man!

It is sad how many of you felt the need to go onto Shockernet so you could laugh at us while we were down. Yeah, there was a lot of conspiracy talk and complaints about the refs, but all of that was on the Shocker board. I looked back through the game thread and there was no mention of it from a Shocker fan here.

How many of you laughed as you pointed out that we would not win because we haven't ever won in St Louis? Shocker fans did get a little paranoid on Shockernet over the loss. That happens on a fan board after a tough loss. Our record in St Louis doesn't help.

Keep a little perspective when you go to a fan board.

I have no problems with fans saying whatever on their own message board. I have a HUGE problem with a head coach acting like a jackass and basically stating that the league conspired against them publicly.

To your point regarding forum members here going on Shockernet - it's a public (or at least viewable to all) forum!! If they are going to make moronic statements like that they should expect to be called on it and yes laughed at. There have been multiple posts here on MVC fans regarding things that have been said on Bearnation and the other fan forums so why should Shockernet be different?

Personally I didn't laugh at the statements on Shockernet. I just found it very sad that such a clear majority felt that way and even supported Marshall's post game conspiracy statements.

You are correct that NONE of the Shocker fans on this forum posted any of that nonsense here. To me that just shows that those fans are a cut above. I don't think anyone said a single negative thing about the Shox fans here?

When I posted my thoughts on this I stated my problem was with Marshall's post game comments. They were classless and idiotic. Most of the other statements on here were similar to mine.
