Apparently Marshall and Elgin had an exchange after the game. Also, Marshall bullied up on the podium before Jank who was scheduled to go first.

Holy crap, that is just embarrassing. Take your loss like a man, and move on. Conspiracy? Good lord.

I've honestly never seen anything like this. Have some class and sportsmanship for God's sake.

1) Then, when he (HCGM) encountered Valley commissioner Doug Elgin outside the Shockers’ locker room, he had a few more (strong words).
2) As Marshall was heading into the locker room, Elgin told him to stop saying what he was saying
3) as Marshall left the dressing room to get on the team bus after another too-early exit, he turned and glared at two of Elgin’s assistants, Mike Kern and Jack Watkins.

He's a good coach who carrys himself in a way that endears him to his local fan base. What we think of him doesn't really matter. If he pisses off Elgin, so what? Maybe he gets a fine, and in return he just gets another raise.

I think he's a great coach who is a poor loser and refuses to give credit to an opponent when his team blows a 13 point lead and doesn't make a field goal the last 6 minutes of the game yet blames the officials and league commissioner instead.

I don't condone the way he acted during the press conference and I don't believe there is a conspiracy, but did you listen to the press conference? He did give credit to Jank and Illinois St.

I am glad you don't condone his actions at the press conference. He did give alittle credit to Jank and ISU.

But his actions were a contrast to the little praise he gave to Jank. The whole we are having our press conference first thing is very disrespectful in coaching circles. It's basically telling Jank and the world that we are going first because well, we should have won that game no matter what the scoreboard says. Marshall was making a point to the MVC by cutting in line there. It's right up there with everything else he said about "seeing strange things out there today" and liking his chances on a true neutral court. Marshall should consider him lucky it was Jank he cut in front of and not someone like McDermott, Lansing, or Simmons. I don't think they would have taken it as well as Jank did.

Shockers fans I love you guys. But your Coach embarrassed the heck of your program on Saturday. I am sure you guys love him more than ever, as he is coming across as standing up for his team. But outside of Shocker nation, I think you guys have a really good idea how the world views Gregg Marshall these days.

Right or wrong, I wish you guys all the luck in the Big Dance.

Suggesting the fix is in goes far beyond simply pissing someone off.

The guy can put together a good team, but this isn't the first time he's shown his true colors and it won't be the last.
