I think Creighton's ceiling is a 5, and the lowest is 7. But I think the Jays will get a 6. I think Wichita could be anywhere from a 4-6, but will get a 5.

This. The ceiling/floor is the best way of looking at it. WSU is a 4-6, Creighton is a 5-7. Either team could be anywhere in that depending on how the other teams in that seed range perform in their conference tournaments.

As of now, I believe WSU is a weak 4 and Creighton is a weak 5. Conference tournament play and midmajor bias can be applied as needed before Sunday.

Exactly. You should both prepared to be lower than you think. Also, not sure why everyone assumes WSU will be a better seed than CU based on the hard data.

What data are you looking at? Based on this, I would say WSU's resume is better. Better SOS, RPI, won regular season title by 2 games, better road record. The only think Creighton has is a better top 50 RPI record, but they played 3 out of those 5 at home. The top 100 RPI record is WSU 6-3 and Creighton 5-3. By these numbers I don't know how you don't say WSU has a slightly better resume.

I see WSU getting a 5 (should probably be a 4) and CU getting 7 or royally screwed with an 8 (probably should be a 6). Likely they both will match up with other mid-majors.

When we have a favorable draw (Nevada) we lose. When I hated the draw (Florida) we won. Not sure it matters. Just have to play well.

I hope WSU ends up with a BCS mid pack team. Better then knocking out another mid major who gets screwed on seeding. I see WSU as a 5 or 6 and Creighton as a 6 or 7. Anything below those seeds, the teams have got screwed.

I never thought the Nevada draw was a favorable one at all. Nevada was ranked in the top 25, but somehow got bumped down to a 7 seed. They should have been a 5 or 6 at the worst.

Both should get favorable seeds, no worse than a 7 and as high as a 4. But don't be surprised if you get totally robbed, and get shoved into the 8-9 game either.

UNI had a very similar resume two years ago to what WSU and CU have this year, and we got jobbed down to a freaking 9 seed. The bubble is super weak this year though, so I think the danger of that happening this year is not likely.

Is Creighton doing anything special with the team for the selection show? WSU has announced they will have a watch party at Koch Arena with the fans and I would imagine that CBS will have a camera there.
